Rodrigo Felipe founded HUMUS in 1999 when he took over his family’s land from his father. A former engineer turned farmer with no formal wine background, Rodrigo has developed a winemaking ecosystem dedicated to the promotion of the clean and pure stewardship of his isolated farm – a simple and truly “natural” winemaking process. He is one of the only Portuguese producers currently working without the use of sulfur.
