A former wine critic, winemaker Tiago turned to winemaking as a way to cultivate a closer relationship with the land he so frequently traveled and wrote about. In 2012 he leased a vineyard in Bairrada, 15 km from the Atlantic, and began making wines which reflected the nearby sea – personified by the sandy limestone clay terroir.
